Venezia FC Unveils the 24/25 Third Jersey in Partnership with TBA21–Academy’s Ocean Space, Drawing Inspiration from the Venetian Lagoon to Foster Environmental Awareness

December 5, 2024

Venice, 5 December 2024 – Venezia FC releases its 24/25 Third Jersey, an exclusive aqua-colored shirt, drawing inspiration from the Venetian lagoon. The new kit, available online from December 5, 2024, pays homage to Venice's profound connection with its natural environment and surrounding wetlands.

Designed to capture the essence of the colors of the lagoon landscape, the Jersey features a gradient from aqua to deep blue, symbolizing the shifting tones of the sky and the Venetian waters. The shirt’s details include a subtle wave pattern across the fabric and elegant gold accents, such as the reimagined “Città di Venezia” logo across the chest.

Photographed by the artistic eye of Guglielmo Profeti, the campaign “Flow Together” places water at the heart of its narrative, symbolizing both strength and delicate beauty. Infused with a nostalgic, romantic, and natural aesthetic, it calls for respecting and preserving the vital relationship between humanity and nature. The photoshoot took place along the lagoon path “Il Sentiero delle Barene,” a nature trail located on Lazzaretto Nuovo island, situated in an area rich in biodiversity and protected by the Ecomuseo dei Lazzaretti Veneziani association.

Reinforcing its commitment to making a positive impact in its city, the Club will donate €5 from the first 1,500 jerseys sold on shop.veneziafc.it to support local projects managed by Ocean Space, a Venice-based international cultural initiative led by TBA21–Academy and Cultural Partner of the Club since 2023.

The funds will contribute to the creation of mobile urban gardens in public spaces between Sant’Elena and Castello, in the framework of the fourth edition of the research program “Convivial Tables”, that explores the relation between food and ecology within the Venetian lagoon ecosystem. These gardens will be designed, created, and activated through a series of workshops organized by Ocean Space for the local community. Their activation will involve collaboration with associations and lagoon experts, to promote sustainable and accessible food production methods that respect the delicate ecosystem of the Venetian lagoon and its peculiarities. This initiative aims to enhance biodiversity and encourage sustainable, zero-kilometer food practices, ultimately leaving a lasting legacy for Venice and its residents.

The 24/25 Third Jersey will make its on-field debut at the match against Como 1907, the lake’s team, on December 8, 2024, at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo. It is now available online at shop.veneziafc.it and will soon be available at Venezia FC retail stores.
