Venice, 10 February 2026 — Venezia FC and NOCTA unveil the 25/26 Special Edition Fourth Jersey, designed by Drake Ramberg: a project deeply rooted in the element that more than any other defines Venice—water. More than a simple colorway, the new jersey interprets water as origin, movement, and shared identity: the force that has shaped the city and continues to connect the people who inhabit it. This vision takes shape through Siamo Nati Sull’Acqua (Born on the water), a campaign that brings together voices from Venice’s contemporary creative community, involved by Venezia FC to take part in a collective expression of belonging and connection to the territory.

The 25/26 Special Edition Fourth Jersey translates this concept into design through layered shades of blue that evoke the depth and constant motion of the lagoon. Water is not treated as a backdrop, but as a language: fluid, reflective, and in continuous transformation. In direct dialogue with the territory, the campaign images, shot by photographer Diogo Lopes, portray the creative community who play on and off the pitch.

Venezia FC players Gianluca Busio, Marko Farji, Lynn Gismann, Kike Perez, John Yeboah and Alice Zuanti appear alongside artists and cultural figures from the city — including Cristina Collu, Director of Fondazione Querini Stampalia; chef Silvia Rozas; environmental scientist Jane Da Mosto; and designer Marco Zavagno with his son, among others — each bearing witness to a lived and authentic relationship with Venice.

The 25/26 Special Edition Fourth Jersey follows the same conceptual path as the 25/26 Fourth Jersey launched in December, reinterpreted through a palette inspired by the Winged Lion of St. Mark. Historical symbols are distilled through Ramberg’s distinctive graphic language, striking a balance between heritage and contemporary form. The result is a jersey conceived not only for the pitch, but as a narrative object: research-driven, culturally grounded, and unmistakably Venetian.

The 25/26 Special Edition Fourth Jersey will be worn on the pitch for the first time on 10 February, on the occasion of the match between Venezia FC and Modena FC at the “Pier Luigi Penzo” Stadium.

Building on a cultural partnership begun in 2023 and developed into a shared journey combining art, sport, and community engagement, Ocean Space will host, at the Church of San Lorenzo in Venice, the exposition-event conceived and presented by Venezia FC, tomorrow 11 February from 2 to 7 PM with free admission.

Ocean Space's 2026 artistic season, meanwhile, will reopen on 28 March with two projects: the exhibition Tide of Returns and the policy lab Nature Speaks, Listening for Rights of Nature in Venice and Europe, a community-led initiative to recognize the Venetian Lagoon as an entity with legal personhood within Italian and European law.

Venice, 22 January 2026 – Venezia FC SpA continues to strengthen its managerial structure with the appointment of Nicholas Vieira as Head of Marketing and Sara Simioni as Head of Human Resources.

These appointments are part of the Club’s broader organisational development path, in line with recent governance and management decisions, and reflect the objective of building a solid, integrated and long-term oriented leadership team. This evolution supports the Club’s sporting, commercial and corporate growth, while reinforcing its identity and positioning.

A strategic marketing leader with over ten years of experience across sport and lifestyle, Vieira brings a global perspective and a growth-oriented approach to the Venezia FC brand. He previously held leadership roles at Nike EMEA in brand and narrative strategy, and from 2023 to 2025 served as Global Head of Brand Communication at Ray-Ban, where he led the brand’s global relaunch and the launch of Ray-Ban x Meta AI glasses. At Venezia FC, he will contribute to strengthening the Club’s brand equity and its status as a contemporary sports and cultural platform.

As Head of Human Resources, Sara Simioni will lead the HR function, supporting organisational culture, talent development and internal processes with a focus on governance, compliance and sustainable growth. She brings extensive experience across industrial, retail and corporate environments, with strong expertise in HR business partnering, talent acquisition and organisational management. She previously held HR roles at Lotto Sport Italia and SCARPA, and in 2025 worked at Bracchi S.p.A., one of Europe’s leading integrated transport and logistics operators. At Venezia FC, she will focus on attracting, developing and valuing people, fostering a work environment aligned with excellence, responsibility and the Club’s long-term vision.

This limited-edition piece expands the ongoing narrative celebrating Venice’s bold identity, drawing from the symbols, places, and creative energy that have long shaped the deep bond between the city and its Club.

Inspired by the Venetian flag and the iconic Winged Lion of Saint Mark, the Fourth Jersey stands as a symbol of pride and belonging, built on the colors and visual power ofthe Serenissima’s historic banner. Its language blends the city’s references with Ramberg’s signature aesthetic, turning patterns, palettes, and symbols into graphic storytelling. Every detail, from the colorwork to the geometric structure, connects the visual legacy of Venezia FC with the cultural imagination of the city.

Drake Ramberg created some of the most legendary kits of the ’90s:from Arsenal to Borussia Dortmund to the Italian national team; shaping entire design generations and redefining the aesthetics of football. His approach, rooted in cultural research, symbolism, and visual storytelling, elevates the jersey into a narrative object that speaks of place, culture, and sporting spirit.

The launch campaign for this Special Edition Fourth Jersey goes beyond the product, taking shape as a motion piece that amplifies the colors and symbols embedded in the design. Like a banner movement catching the wind, the film captures dynamic, flowing moments, revealing design details through a palette and lighting reminiscent of Caravaggio. Designed to express a strong and unmistakable identity, the 25/26 Fourth Jersey draws directly from Venice’s visual heritage. The deep red and gold base references the city’s historic banner, evoking strength, courage, and tradition. Subtle motifs nod to ornamental armors and the patterns of Venetian architecture, while the Winged Lion of Saint Mark rises on the shoulders as a symbol of belonging reimagined through a modern lens. Crafted in lightweight, high-performance fabric to ensure breathability and freedom of movement, on the pitch or in the stands, the jersey features a TPU anti-abrasion Venezia FC crest, the NOCTA logo, and an embroidered Authenticity Label.

The jersey will debut on pitch during the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa match Inter–Venezia on December 3, in S.Siro, in the distinct 25/26 Match Fourth Jersey version, featuring the main sponsor Cynar’s Spritz logo.

Today Drake Ramberg will lead a workshop at the Iuav University of Venice, presenting his interpretation of the VFC project and showcase his work to design students. This initiative reinforces Venezia FC’s connection with the region’s design culture and the next generation of creatives, strengthening the Club’s position not only as a sporting institution but also as a cultural platform.
