VENEZIA FC PLAYERS CALLED UP TO NATIONAL TEAMS

Ten Venezia FC players have been called up by their National Teams during the Enilive 2024/25 Serie A championship break.

Michael Svoboda has been selected by Austria’s national team coach, Ralf Rangnick, to participate in two UEFA Nations League Group G matches against Kazakhstan and Slovenia. Austria will face Kazakhstan on November 14 at the Almaty Ortalyk Stadium in Almaty and Slovenia on November 17 at 6:00 PM at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna.

Jesse Joronen and Joel Pohjanpalo have been called up by the Finnish national team for UEFA Nations League matches against Ireland, which will take place on November 14 in Dublin, and Greece on November 17 in Helsinki.

The Ecuadorian national team has summoned Venezia FC forward John Yeboah for World Cup qualifying matches against Bolivia and Colombia. Ecuador will face Bolivia on November 14 in Guayaquil and Colombia on November 19 in Barranquilla.

Indonesian defender Jay Idzes will participate in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with his national team, facing Japan and Saudi Arabia on November 15 and 19 in Jakarta, respectively.

Mikael Egill Ellertsson has been called up by the Icelandic national team for UEFA Nations League matches against Montenegro and Wales, which will be held on November 16 at 6:00 PM in Podgorica and on the 19th at 8:45 PM in Cardiff.

Gianluca Busio will play with the U.S. national team in the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals against Jamaica. The American team will take the field at Independence Park in Kingston on November 15, and then on November 18 at CityPark in St. Louis.

Ridgeciano Haps has been called up by the Suriname national team to play two Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal matches against Canada, scheduled for November 15 and 19.

Joël Schingtienne has been called up by Belgium's Under-21 team for the two European Championship qualifying matches against the Czech Republic. The games will take place on November 15 at 8:00 p.m. at the King Power Stadium in Leuven and on November 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Arena in Hradec Králové.

Lastly, Saad El Haddad has been called up to Morocco’s Under-20 team to participate in the Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifying tournament. The competition will take place in Egypt from November 11 to 23, where Morocco will face Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya.
