VENEZIA FC PLAYERS CALLED UP TO NATIONAL TEAMS

A total of 10 arancioneroverdi players have been called up by their National Teams.

Gianluca Busio has been called up to the United States National Team for friendly matches against Panama and Mexico. The USA team will face Panama in Austin on October 12 and Mexico in Guadalajara on October 15.

Venice FC striker Saad El Haddad has been called up to the Morocco Under-20 National Team to participate in a training camp in France from October 7 to 15, 2024. During this period, Morocco will play two friendly matches against the French Under-20 team.

Defender Michael Svoboda has earned his first call-up to the Austrian National Team. He has been selected by coach Ralf Rangnick to play in two UEFA Nations League matches, which will take place on October 10 and 15 at Raiffeisen Arena in Linz, against Kazakhstan and Norway.

Jesse Joronen and Joel Pohjanpalo will play in Helsinki with the Finnish National Team for UEFA Nations League matches against the Republic of Ireland and England on October 10 and 13.

Ecuador National Team coach Sebastián Beccacece has called up Venice FC striker John Yeboah for two 2026 World Cup qualification matches. Ecuador will face Paraguay in Quito on October 10 and Uruguay in Montevideo on October 15.

The arancioneroverde number 77, Mikael Egill Ellertsson, has been called up to the Icelandic National Team to play in UEFA Nations League matches against Wales and Turkey. The games will be held on October 11 and 14 at Laugardalsvöllur Stadium in Reykjavik.

Defender Jay Idzes will play with the Indonesian National Team for the 2026 World Cup qualification matches against Bahrain on October 10 and China on October 15.

Joël Schingtienne, on the other hand, has been called up to the Belgian U-21 National Team for two European Championship qualifying matches. Belgium will face Scotland on October 11 in Edinburgh and Hungary on October 15 in Leuven.

Finally, Ridgeciano Haps has been called up by the Suriname National Team to play in the Concacaf Nations League matches against Costa Rica and Guyana, scheduled for October 11 and 15.
