Four Venezia FC players have been called up to represent their national teams ahead of the upcoming international fixtures in October.
Icelandic midfielder Bjarki Bjarkason has been selected for two 2026 World Cup qualifying matches: on October 10, Iceland will face Ukraine at home at the Laugardalsvöllur Stadium in Reykjavík, while on October 13, also on home soil, the Strákarnir Okkar will play a big match against France.
Defender Seid Korac has been called up by the Luxembourg national team. For the third and fourth rounds of Group A in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the "Red Lions" will play two away matches: on October 10 at the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim against Germany, and on October 13 at the Anton Malatinský Stadium in Trnava against Slovakia.
Defender Ridgeciano Haps has been called up by coach Stanley Menzo for two World Cup qualifying matches that Suriname will play in the North and Central American group. On October 10, the "Suriboys" will host Guatemala at the Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo, and on October 15, they will travel to Panama City to face Panama.
Forward John Yeboah will travel overseas to take part in two international friendlies with Ecuador. "La Tricolor" will play on October 11 in Austin against the USA, and on October 15 at the Estadio Akron in Guadalajara against Mexico.
