On the eve of the Day 38 of Serie B 2023/24, when Venezia will face Spezia at Picco stadium tomorrow at 20:30 CEST, the arancioneroverdi coach Paolo Vanoli analyzed the team's situation and the opponent.



"We have to live this moment with serenity, we know we have a 1 percent chance of going straight up tomorrow and we are proud that we have managed to keep an open league until the very last. As I have already said for previous games, as long as we have even a small chance to win we want to give everything. We also know that Spezia is playing for a very important goal, with a win they would gain direct salvation in a fiery atmosphere. I expect a very tactical match initially, they play well and have many quality performers like Verde and Esposito who can be dangerous on set pieces as well.

I am sure that even in the other game both teams will give everything, but honestly we have to look at ourselves and think about winning a complicated match. Spezia is perhaps the team that put us in the most difficulty in the first half of the season, they also play good soccer but as we know our world is influenced a lot by results. We have to be proud of our path, if we are here today on the eve of the last game with still a chance to go up directly it means that something really great has been done.“
