At international level, Bašić starred for the Croatia Under-21 national team before making his senior debut in November 2020 in the match against Turkey.
Toma Bašić, Venezia FC midfielder
“From the very first moment, I felt that there is a serious and ambitious project here in Venice, and I immediately understood that it could represent a great opportunity for my career. I’m truly happy with the choice I’ve made, I’m approaching this new adventure with great enthusiasm, and I can’t wait to get started.
I had already played here as an opponent, but only yesterday did I really have the chance to visit the city, and it was an extraordinary experience: Venice is simply spectacular.
I could also feel how much this team is loved by its fans. Knowing that the stadium is always full gives all of us extra motivation and strength.”
Welcome, Toma.
