“During this international break we’ve been working well on the pitch, and now we’re waiting for our teammates to return from their international duties so we can analyze our next league opponent together. Physically, I feel good; I like the way coach Stroppa wants us to play. We’re a well-equipped team, and we must believe we can win every match by pushing ourselves day after day in training.

In Empoli it will be a tough game, we’re playing away from home and we’ll have to stay focused from the very first minute. The Tuscan side is strong, and in the next few days we’ll study them to see how we can be dangerous.

We’re almost 30 players in the squad. At the start of the season, some teammates were in better form than I was and made an important contribution to our results. We’re all important to the team; the season is still long, and each of us will have our moment. Whether or not we’re one of the best teams in the league is something we’ll have to prove on the pitch, Serie B is a difficult competition, and we have to focus on doing well one match at a time.
