After the international break, coach Stroppa looks ahead to the clash against Pescara, valid for the third matchday of Serie BKT 25/26. The game will be played at the Adriatico Stadium on Saturday, September 13, at 15:00. The arancioneroverde coach takes stock of the team’s physical condition on the eve of the trip to Abruzzo.
Giovanni Stroppa, Venezia FC Head Coach
“In these two weeks we have trained well, and last Friday we also played a friendly match in which we showed a good level of play.
Tomorrow at the Adriatico it will be a difficult match, Pescara is a newly promoted team that has signed important players who have already played in this division. At Castellammare we already learned that every away match can be tricky. I expect an intense game, technically we must try to raise our level and make the most of every chance that comes our way.
The team is competitive, I am satisfied both with the new arrivals and with those who stayed; we have a complete squad to face the season. Many players can cover multiple positions, so we are well equipped in all areas of the pitch.
After two rounds, no one is at full points in the standings, which shows that Serie B is a league where every team can make their mark. You must not get carried away after a victory nor discouraged after a defeat. What matters is giving continuity to the type of football we are playing, trying to get results in every match.”
