The post-match of Venezia FC - Mantova

November 29, 2025

After the match between Venezia FC and Mantova, valid for the fourteenth round of the Serie BKT season and ending 3–0 in favor of the Arancioneroverdi, coach Giovanni Stroppa and forward Andrea Adorante analyzed the game as follows.

Giovanni Stroppa, Venezia FC head coach.
We knew the match would be difficult, and we approached it in the best possible way. In the first half we had our chances while giving very little away to the opponents; after the sending-off, it became a different game. Mantova are a team that force their opponents to run a lot, and today, as always, we pressed high on their first build-up phase to try to put them under pressure. I’m satisfied with the team’s performance—there is still room for improvement in individual plays and ruthlessness in the final third, but overall the team has consistently put in positive performances on the pitch.”

Andrea Adorante, Venezia FC forward.
I’m very happy about the goals, but above all about the victory. Today we sent really good signals. Like all my teammates, I make myself available for the coach’s decisions and try to give my best whenever I’m called upon. It was important today to build on the two wins from the last two matches, and I’m very pleased with tonight. I had never scored with a bicycle kick before—I always try it in training, and today it worked out. The team is growing a lot and still has plenty of room for improvement. Now we focus on Wednesday’s match at San Siro.”
