The post-match of Venezia FC - Juve Stabia

April 6, 2026

At the end of the match between Venezia FC and Juve Stabia, valid for matchday 33 of Serie BKT and ending 3–1, head coach Giovanni Stroppa and striker Andrea Adorante shared their thoughts on the game.

Giovanni Stroppa, Venezia FC head coach
Today, in the first twenty minutes, we did fairly well but we could have done better. We played some predictable long balls that we could have handled with more precision. Then we got the game onto the right track. The goal we conceded came from a technical misunderstanding, but we did very well to believe in ourselves and quickly find the 2–1. The second half was one-sided—we had many chances to score and extend the lead further. Today Juve Stabia, unlike on other occasions, didn’t press us high but waited in their own half, looking to play long balls on the counter. When an opponent plays like that, keeping things simple is best: you need to control the game in the opponent’s half without exposing yourself too much, with patience and focus. The standings? They don’t mean anything yet. We keep thinking one match at a time, staying focused—the final verdict will come at the end.”

Andrea Adorante, Venezia FC striker
Today there was a lot of emotion. I spent two wonderful years at Juve Stabia, but my mind was completely focused on the match. I’m happy with the three points—we had one objective today, and despite a slow start, we loosened up and got the result. Scoring twice today makes me happy. I was coming off a period where I wasn’t at 100% physically, but now I’ve recovered, and scoring is definitely a great satisfaction.”
