At the end of the match between Venezia FC and Frosinone, valid for the seventh round of the Serie BKT season and finished 3–0 in favor of the Arancioneroverdi, coach Giovanni Stroppa and forward John Yeboah shared their thoughts on the game.

Giovanni Stroppa, Venezia FC head coach:
“These are three very important points. We needed and wanted to win, and the boys did very well because they really wanted it, showing great strength and determination against a very strong team that never gave up. I think that winning 3–0 against the league leaders, against a team that is currently one of the most in-form sides in the championship, is really something special.
I don’t think it’s right to talk in percentages about what we could be, because there’s always room for improvement. A few matches ago, I said we needed greater mental quality in addition to fighting spirit. There’s no doubt that this team has moments of real quality, even individually, but we need to bring that quality into the game itself, especially when we have opportunities.
Beyond this growth, which I think is clear, our condition and mentality are improving, but we still have to keep getting better because Serie B is a tough league. We must be even more focused on the small details in order to keep improving.”

John Yeboah, Venezia FC forward:
“I’m very happy with today’s win. I feel good physically, and I’m also pleased with the team’s performance. I’ll keep working even harder to find consistency in my performances. I know my qualities can be very useful to the team, so in every training session I’ll push to the maximum to always be ready and available for my teammates.
On today’s penalty, I asked Adorante if I could take it. I know he’s also eager to score, but he was really kind to let me have the opportunity. I want to score as much as possible to find consistency in front of goal too. Now I have two matches with the national team, and I’ll try to keep playing at this level.
I get along very well with Stroppa — I know he believes in my abilities, and I’m aware that I can be an important player for the team.”
