Venice, March 12, 2025 - Venezia FC SpA strengthens its management with the appointments of Tancredi Vitale as Managing Director (MD) and Giorgio Francia as Finance Director (FD) and General Manager (GM) Corporate.
The addition of these high-profile executives, with extensive experience in international sports management and global brand leadership, aims to enhance the club's organizational structure and accelerate the growth path initiated by the Ownership.
The Ownership’s Operating Committee (OpCo) reaffirms its commitment by creating a strong leadership team, composed of managers with experience in sports, commercial, and financial fields. The goal is to establish Venezia FC as a club capable of competing consistently in Italy’s Serie A.

Tancredi Vitale, 49, originally from Turin, has built a career spanning over 30 years across the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA, bringing expertise in global business growth and development, team leadership, and brand equity creation, having achieved significant revenue and profitability results. He worked at Nike’s headquarters in Oregon, where he held senior management roles in various areas over the past 15 years, leading multiple business lines in apparel and footwear for the Nike and Jordan brands. Previously, he worked at Adidas’ German headquarters, collaborating with Yohji Yamamoto in the creation of Y-3, a pioneering brand merging performance and fashion. Earlier in his career, he contributed to the growth of Kappa and Jesus Jeans at Basic.Net.

Giorgio Francia, 52, graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University and has 30 years of experience in corporate and financial consulting as well as executive roles in the football sector. He began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen before taking on consulting roles with Value Partners and Deloitte Consulting. Over the past decade, he served as Chief Financial Officer of AS Roma SpA, gaining in-depth knowledge of football club management and industry dynamics at both national and international levels, with a particular focus on financial aspects.

Vitale and Francia will join Filippo Antonelli in the club’s executive management and will become members of the Board of Directors of Venezia FC SpA, working in full synergy with OpCo.
