Statement from Venezia FC Ownership Group

Following up on the thoughtful comments on 7 December from our Sporting Director, Filippo Antonelli, the ownership group of Venezia FC would like to express our unwavering commitment to our players, sporting leadership, and employees – and gratitude to the people we play for – our great fans.

We realize a top-tier program cannot be built overnight. We have proven we can compete in Serie A, but we are aware that we could have secured more points and that we must continue to work hard.

Building the team we all want to have is a process. Since the current ownership group was formed last season, we have worked to improve all aspects of the club. We have continued to invest in the first team, the youth academy, the women's team, the new training center, the Penzo, and our brand, and we are prepared to invest even more in our infrastructure to turn the long-awaited dream of a new stadium into reality in the next two years.

Our ownership group has expanded again this season, which provides VFC with a diverse and robust set of owners who are committed to the long-term success of the club and building a winning tradition for the city of Venice. This ownership group represents the most solid financial foundation the club has had in the last two decades.

We have full faith and belief in Filippo Antonelli, Christian Molinaro and Isaac Guerrero to guide our sporting efforts and we are committed to strengthen our management and organization to enhance our business operations.

Know that the players and coaches are committed to winning. We ask for your support because the strength our fans provide can make a meaningful difference in the fight to stay in Serie A.

As Filippo aptly stated in his prior comments - let's focus on remaining united as a team: management, fans, staff, and the media, to fight and compete in Serie A against the top clubs in Italy and, over time, earning our place among those clubs.
