This afternoon, Filip Stanković spoke at the press conferenze in VFC headquarter Ca’Venezia:


"Venezia has a very important technical project, and after speaking with Director Antonelli and coach Di Francesco, I didn't think twice about accepting the offer. I think that thanks to the help of the coach and my teammates, I can grow a lot here at Venezia.
I have a great relationship with Jesse Joronen. He is a great professional, a goalkeeper to look up to because he always pushes you to give your best.
My father is always very present even though I don’t see him much. We often talk on the phone, even after training, and he always tries to help me by giving me advice.
Coach Di Francesco is a great coach and a wonderful person. I really enjoy working with him because he trusts young players and always tries to help me improve.
My strengths are my quick reflexes and playing out from the back. My idol, is Julio Cesar.
The goal is the same as the whole team's, which is to play in Serie A again next year. If we reach the team's goal together, I will have achieved my personal goal as well."
