Venezia FC announces the permanent transfer of Icelandic midfielder Mikael Ellertsson to Genoa CFC.

Ellertsson will remain on loan at Venezia FC until the end of the 2024/25 season, continuing to contribute to the team.

Having joined the club in January 2023, the 2002-born player has made a total of 76 appearances for the Arancioneroverdi, scoring 6 goals and providing 7 assists across Serie A, Serie B, and the Coppa Italia.

He played a key role in the club’s promotion to the top flight, recording 2 goals and 7 assists in the 2023/24 season.
