July 12, 2025

Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement with Juventus FC for the temporary acquisition, until the end of the 2025/26 season, of midfielder Mattia Compagnon, with an obligation to buy under certain conditions.

A product of Udinese’s youth academy, the 2001-born Compagnon moved on loan to Potenza in 2020, where he made 13 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists across Serie C and the Coppa Italia.

In the summer of 2021, he was acquired by Juventus, where he spent three seasons in Serie C with the “Next Gen” squad, tallying 76 appearances, 17 goals, and 5 assists.

During the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, he played in Serie B for Feralpisalò and Catanzaro, making a total of 53 appearances and scoring 7 goals across league and Coppa Italia matches.

Mattia Compagnon
"I’m extremely happy to have joined Venezia. From the very first moment, I felt a strong connection with Director Antonelli, who presented me with an ambitious and high-value technical project. Wearing the Venezia shirt is an honor – it’s an important jersey, and I will do my best to honor it every day with commitment and dedication. My decision was also positively influenced by the Club’s choice to appoint a coach like Stroppa, a manager with great experience and clear ideas. I’d like to take this opportunity to greet our fans – I can’t wait to feel their support at the Penzo."

Welcome to the arancioneroverdi, Mattia.
