Magnus Kofod Andersen joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC are pleased to announce the acquisition of Danish youth international midfielder Magnus Kofod Andersen, 23, on a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year that will commence upon the expiration of his contact with Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland on 1 July 2022.

After coming through Nordsjælland’s youth academy, Andersen emerged as a first team regular at the age of 18 in the 2017/18 season, making 31 starts in the Danish top flight that year.

Over the last five seasons, Andersen has made a total of 171 appearances with seven goals and 11 assists across all domestic competitions, helping Nordsjælland finish as high as third in the Superliga.

At international level, Andersen has earned 25 caps with Denmark’s Under-21 national team, including three appearances at the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship and three appearances at the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship where Denmark reached the quarter-finals.
