Franco Carboni to Venezia FC

Venezia FC announces the acquisition on loan with an option to buy of the sports performance of the player Franco Carboni from FC Internazionale.

Carboni, 21 years old, raised in the Lanús youth academy, arrived in Italy in 2019 to join the Youth Sector of Catania.

In January 2020, the 2003-born defender moved to Inter, where he would make 54 appearances, score two goals, and provide 12 assists over two seasons, playing in the Under 17, Under 18, Youth League, and Primavera1 championships, winning the league title at the end of the 2021/22 season.

In the summer of 2022, he transferred to Cagliari in Serie B, making one appearance in the Coppa Italia and 13 in the Championship, with one assist.

After moving to Monza in January 2023, he made his Serie A debut with the red and white team on February 18 against Milan, playing two more league matches and one in the Coppa Italia.

Returning to Inter in January 2024, Carboni was loaned to Ternana in Serie B, where he made 21 appearances and scored one goal.

Possessing dual Italian/Argentine citizenship, Carboni made his international debut with the Italian Under 18 National Team, scoring a goal against Austria on June 4, 2021. In March 2022, he was called up by the Argentine Under 20 team, with which he played three matches against France, the United States, and Japan.
