Daishawn Redan joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC announce the acquisition of Dutch striker Daishawn Redan, 21, on a permanent transfer from Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. Redan has signed personal terms through the 2025/26 season.

Coming from the youth ranks of Ajax and Chelsea, Redan earns 63 caps with the British side’s Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 squads, scoring 32 goals and making seven assists.

Acquired by Hertha BSC in 2020 and after a brief stint with FC Groningen, the Dutch striker went on loan to PEC Zwolle, totalling 26 appearances, six goals and three assists in Eredivisie.

Returning to Hertha BSC in 2021, Redan recorded seven Bundesliga appearances before moving on loan to FC Utrecht, where he collected 14 appearances and one goal in the Eredivisie in the current season.

At international level, Redan has been called up to the Dutch national team youth squads from the Under-15 to the Under-21, scoring 48 goals in 61 appearances.
