Altare: “We must keep our feet on the ground”

December 6, 2023

This morning, Italian defender Giorgio Altare spoke at the press conferenze in VFC headquarter Ca’ Venezia:

"We have to keep our feet on the ground, it is a tough league and we will definitely have obstacles to face. We want to continue working hard every day with the Coach to polish the details ahead of the next game, which will be an important test to confront a great team and understand where we are in our growth. Besides individual work, you get results with the work of all departments and the group. When you take the field you do it in eleven but those who come in from the bench in the course of the game are fundamental, I give kudos to my teammates who are giving us a great hand and making us a team.

When I arrived I already found a good group, it was easy to fit in. The club is healthy and wanted me from the beginning for these reasons I did not hesitate when the proposal came. Already last season I saw a Venice that finished the championship in great shape and this year we are seeing the continuity of performance combined with the management and organization behind it, which is of a very high level. Not only the players bring results but also all the staff and people involved who work in the club. Vanoli is demanding, he demands that we give our best in training because then the results are seen in the game and we want to please him because we strongly believe in hard work.“
