Venezia FC announces that an agreement has been reached with Genoa CFC for the temporary acquisition of defender Alessandro Marcandalli, born in 2002, until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Marcandalli developed as a player in the youth academies of Atalanta and Giana Erminio, the latter being the club where he also made his first-team debut. He later moved permanently to Genoa, where he made 44 appearances and scored 2 goals between the Under-18 and Primavera teams.

During the 2022/23 season, he played for Pontedera in Serie C, making 27 appearances and scoring 1 goal. The following year, he joined Reggiana in Serie B, where he featured in 38 matches, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist. In the current season, he has made 2 appearances for Genoa's first team.
