Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo
Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo is the second-oldest stadium in Italy and one of the most unique stadiums in the world, hosting football on water from the Venetian lagoon.
Arriving
Stadio Penzo is located on the island of Sant'Elena, adjacent to the grounds of the Venice Biennale. The stadium is accessible by foot or by vaporetto — the public water bus, which is operated by ACTV.
By foot, Stadio Penzo can be reached from Piazza San Marco within 30 minutes, following the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront past the Biennale grounds and directly to Sant'Elena.
By vaporetto, Stadio Penzo can be reached from various points in the city within 15 to 30 minutes, taking vaporetto line 1, 4.2, 5.2, or 6 to the Sant'Elena stop. For a helpful platform to search vaporetto lines and timetables, visit the Moovit website or download the Moovit app for iOS or Android.
