The Venezia FC women’s is preparing for the first official match of the season, scheduled for Sunday, August 31, against Frosinone in the preliminary round of the Coppa Italia. The Lionesses will play at 17:00 at Ca’ Venezia, in an elimination match. The winner will advance to the group of 24 Serie A and Serie B teams qualified for the final phase of the tournament.

Under coach Rizzolo’s guidance, the squad also features nine new signings. Jasmine Mounecif, born in 2004, midfielder, has joined on loan from Parma and will wear the Venezia FC women’s shirt until June 30, 2026.

Eight other new arrivals, signed as free agents, have agreed to contracts binding them to Venezia FC women’s until June 30, 2026:
