SERIE C FEM. 24/25: VILLORBA-VENEZIA FC 1-3

Venezia FC secures a convincing victory over Villorba, confirming its excellent form and maintaining a firm grip on first place in the standings.

The "leonesse" start on the attack right away, creating danger in the 9th minute with a shot from Furlanis, though it doesn’t trouble the opposing goalkeeper. The match continues without major chances until the 36th minute, when Menini heads the ball towards goal, only to be denied by Villorba’s goalkeeper. Two minutes later, Giorgio Carniato’s team responds with a shot from Trevisan, forcing Casarasa—making her first start—to make a save.
In the 39th minute, Venezia comes close to taking the lead as Zuanti’s left-footed strike from outside the box smashes against the crossbar. The first half ends goalless.

After the break, Berta Prat Hernandez’s squad raises the tempo, putting pressure on their opponents and coming close to scoring through Nurzia and Duarte. The breakthrough finally comes in the 55th minute when Torradeflot, after a brilliant move down the right, shakes off a defender and beats Generali with a precise shot (0-1).
In the 64th minute, following a corner kick, the ball falls to Zuanti at the edge of the box, and she fires home to double the lead.
The "leonesse" seal the game in the 71st minute with Torradeflot’s second goal. The number 10 scores a stunning strike, placing the ball under the crossbar for 0-3.
In the final minutes, Villorba finds a consolation goal through Bortolato, setting the final score at 1-3.
