SERIE C FEM. 24/25: TAVAGNACCO-VENEZIA FC 0-1

Fifth victory in as many matches played for Venezia Femminile, who beat Tavagnacco 0-1 thanks to a penalty scored by Doneda in the 94th minute of play.

The girls led by Berta Prat Hernandez started strong, finding the back of the net with Willis after just 60 seconds; however, the goal was disallowed due to offside. In the 13th minute, Menini sprinted down the right wing and crossed the ball into the center for Torradeflot, whose powerful shot just missed the far post, going slightly wide. The lionesses continued to press, imposing their rhythm and coming close to scoring again with Menini, who couldn't quite beat Ferroli, who was caught out of position. The most clear-cut chances of the first half, which was dominated in terms of play by Venezia, came from a header by Furlanis (which did not trouble Gangi) and a shot by Zuanti, comfortably saved by Ferroli.

The second half began with the Lionesses immediately posing a threat in the 46th minute through Zuanti, who was, however, unable to win her personal duel with Ferroli, who deflected the ball for a corner.
The home team then created two dangerous opportunities with Furlanis: in the 49th minute, her shot was blocked by Gangi, and in the 63rd minute, she failed to find the target despite being in a good position. In the 72nd minute, Torradeflot showed her talent by expertly setting up Zannini, whose first-time shot narrowly missed the post. Fifteen minutes later, another golden opportunity arose for the arancioneroverdi, who deserved the lead after a brilliant one-touch combination between Zannini and Torradeflot. In the final minutes of the match, all kinds of action unfolded. In the 86th minute, Tavagnacco had the chance to take the lead but failed to capitalize on a penalty caused by a handball from Morin. Four minutes later, Torradeflot earned a penalty, which Doneda expertly converted, scoring the crucial goal just 60 seconds before the end of the match.
