The Venezia FC Femminile registered an emphatic 1-4 win away to Orvieto on Sunday afternoon, extending a positive run of four matches unbeaten.

After an initial wave of chances, Yolanda Bonnín put Venezia in front in the 17th minute with a gorgeous shot inside the far post, and not yet satisfied she would hit a second just two minutes later to double the advantage.

In the 33rd minute, Venezia got their third goal, this time with Bonnín turning provider for Martina Sclavo to finish from inside the area, and they would hold their 0-3 lead into half-time.

In the 61st minute, Venezia put the match out of reach, as Isabel Cacciamali headed for Elena Govetto who played across the pitch for an onrushing Ilaria Mella to finish.

Just three minutes from time, the hosts get a consolation goal, but Venezia’s three points were secure in a 1-4 win.

Venezia will now prepare to face Lumezzane on Sunday afternoon in Giornata 9 of the 2022/23 Serie C Femminile season.
