In Giornata 20 of the 2022/23 Serie C Femminile season, Venezia traveled to Tuscany to face C.S. Lebowski, and came away with all three points in a hard fought 2-3 comeback win which allowed the arancioneroverdi to narrow the point differential separating them from third place Lumezzane.

Alice Zuanti saw her close-range effort being denied by the Lebowski ‘keeper as early as the 2nd minute, with the hosts going in front shortly after from a scrum thanks to a Elena Mannucci deflection. Lebowski soon doubled their lead through Bianca Valoriani, who took advantage of a distraction by Giulia Limardi to lob the ball into an empty net, but Zuanti would pull one back in the 31st minute, with the two sides heading into the break 2-1.

In the second half, Yolanda Bonnín scored directly from a corner right in the 46th minute to level the match, and in the 79th minute the Spanish forward was ready on a rebound to score a brace and secure the comeback for Venezia.

Venezia will return to action this Wednesday to face Vicenza at Centro Sportivo Taliercio for an early Giornata 21.
