Venezia FC Women ended the season with a home victory, defeating San Marino Women 6-4 after a thrilling match full of emotions, comebacks, and attacking quality.

After a bright start from the Lionesses, who threatened early through Furlanis, Zuanti, and Cortesi, it was San Marino who took the lead in the 21st minute: Giuliani caught Pucova off guard with a long-range strike to make it 0-1. The visitors gained confidence and doubled their advantage in the 35th minute through Tudisco, who finished well at the far post shortly after entering the penalty area. Venezia responded strongly before halftime. In the 43rd minute, Zuanti played Furlanis through in the box, and the forward beat the goalkeeper with a precise touch to reduce the deficit. Just one minute later, captain Zuanti made it 2-2 with a powerful strike from the edge of the area into the top corner.

In the second half, the orange-and-black side shifted into another gear. In the 50th minute, a brilliant team move allowed Furlanis to score again: the striker dribbled past the goalkeeper and slotted the ball into the net to complete Venezia’s comeback. Five minutes later, the lagoon club’s number 47 completed her hat-trick, finishing with an accurate left-footed strike at the far post following a corner kick. Venezia kept pushing and, in the 59th minute, won a penalty after a foul on Furlanis. Cortesi calmly converted from the spot to make it 5-2. In the 65th minute, Saggion added her name to the scoresheet, curling a left-footed shot into the net after a goalkeeper rebound to extend the lead to 6-2. Late in the game, San Marino tried to fight back with goals from Giuliani in the 72nd minute and Manzetti in the 85th, but the orange-and-black side controlled the match until the final whistle, also coming close to a seventh goal in stoppage time through Novelli and Orlandi
