At the “Taliercio” Sports Center, Venezia FC and Arezzo played out a draw. The final 1–1 result came from a spirited performance by the Lionesses, who were caught by the Tuscan side right at the end.
In front of a delegation from Venezia FC Powerchair, present for the occasion, Oliveira’s team started with determination but risked falling behind as early as the 4th minute: at their first attacking move, Arezzo won a penalty. However, Razzolini hit the post from the spot, sparing Venezia and keeping the score at 0–0. The home side reacted and gradually took control of the game. In the 28th minute, Zuanti came close to opening the scoring, but her shot from the center of the box went just wide. The deserved breakthrough arrived in the 38th minute: Willis scored a fine goal, heading backwards with a looping effort that surprised the opposing goalkeeper to make it 1–0. Shortly before halftime, Willis nearly doubled the lead, but she was in an offside position.
In the second half, Venezia managed their advantage and continued to create chances. Zuanti tried from distance in the 52nd minute without success, while in the 72nd minute Willis, well set up by Ballo, saw her shot deflected for a corner. Towards the end, Girotto tested the Arezzo goalkeeper, who made a good save. Just when the match seemed headed for a Venezia win, the late twist arrived: in the 95th minute, following a free kick, the ball remained loose in the box and substitute Fortunati found the decisive touch to make it 1–1.
