On matchday 19 of the Serie B Femminile, Venezia FC visited Cesena. At the “Martorano” Sports Center, the match ended 4–0 for the home side, who scored twice in each half to overcome a generous Venezia FC team that struggled to be clinical in front of goal.

Cesena started the match strongly and immediately looked dangerous. In the 3rd minute the first chance of the game arrived with a vertical pass that released Di Luzio on the left, but her shot toward the far post went wide. The Romagna side took the lead in the 20th minute: De Muri, played through right on the edge of offside, did well to enter the box, beat the defender and finish past Pucova for 1–0. The hosts kept pushing and in the 28th minute Pucova made a solid save on a shot from the edge of the box by De Muri. The Venezia goalkeeper repeated the feat in the 32nd minute, stopping a powerful long-range effort in two stages, and again in the 35th with a decisive one-on-one save against Fadda. Venezia FC tried to respond in the 36th minute: Girotto delivered an inviting ball into the box for Saggion, but the home defense managed to intercept just before the striker could shoot. In the 43rd minute Cesena doubled their lead when Di Luzio, well served from the left, finished from close range to make it 2–0 at halftime.

In the second half Venezia FC returned to the pitch with determination and tried to create chances to get back into the game. In the 48th minute Cortesi set up Girotto at the edge of the box, but the first-time shot went wide. Shortly afterward Novelli shot from distance after a pass from Nurzia, but the attempt was central and easily gathered by Serafino. In the 54th minute another chance for the orange-black-greens: Girotto set up Orlandi, whose shot from the edge of the box was tipped over for a corner by the goalkeeper. Cesena remained dangerous on the counterattack and in the 57th minute Pucova denied Di Luzio. Venezia FC kept searching for a goal and in the 68th minute Saggion received a pass from Willis in front of goal, but her shot at the near post went wide. In the 80th minute Mazis tried from the left with a powerful strike from the edge of the box, but the Cesena goalkeeper parried it away. In the closing stages Cesena extended their lead: in the 86th minute Ciano made it 3–0 with a shot from a tight angle that found the far post. Deep into stoppage time, in the 93rd minute, Ciano scored again to seal the match at 4–0, finishing off an assist from Di Luzio.
