An important away victory for Venezia FC, who beat Bologna 2–1 at the end of a hard-fought and exciting match. Coach Luis Oliveira’s side, after going behind in the first half, showed great character in the second half to turn the game around thanks to goals from Zuanti and Ballo.
The match began with a strong start from Bologna, who tried to create danger in the opening minutes without seriously troubling Pucova. Venezia responded in an organized manner, attempting to build play and nearly taking the lead in the 20th minute through Mounecif, whose effort from the edge of the box went just wide. As the minutes passed, the home side increased the pressure and found the breakthrough in the 36th minute: Tironi was the quickest to react in the penalty area and, in a crowded situation, managed to beat Pucova for 1–0. Bologna pushed forward and came close to doubling their lead several times, but the Venezia goalkeeper produced two crucial saves against Tironi in the 37th and 40th minutes, keeping her team in the game.
In the second half, Venezia came back onto the pitch with greater determination, looking for a goal to reopen the match. After a few early attempts, the equalizer arrived in the 59th minute: a शानदार move down the left and a precise finish from Zuanti, who beat a defender and placed the ball into the far corner for 1–1. The momentum shifted, and the orange-and-green side grew in confidence, creating several dangerous chances with Zuanti, Furlanis, and Girotto. The winning goal came in the 84th minute: a corner taken by Furlanis and a decisive header from Ballo, who completed the comeback. In the closing stages, Bologna pushed for a last equalizer, but Venezia defended compactly, and Pucova once again made a crucial save to secure the result. A spirited victory for the Lionesses, who showed resilience and determination to claim three valuable away points.
