Venezia FC is pleased to announce that Luis Oliveira has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Women’s First Team. Oliveira has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Born in 1969 in São Luís, Brazil, and holding Belgian nationality, Luis Oliveira boasts a prestigious international playing career. Throughout his long experience on the pitch, he wore the shirts of clubs such as Anderlecht, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Como, Bologna and Catania, and also played for Venezia during the 2004/05 Serie B season, scoring 5 goals in 17 appearances.

After concluding his playing career, Oliveira began his coaching journey, leading Muravera, Pro Patria, and Floriana FC (a club in the Maltese Premier League), before returning to Italy, where he worked with the youth teams of Villanova di Camposampiero, Galaxy FC, Campodarsego, and with Riccione Femminile in Serie C.
